Banca Afirme will never require updating, through electronic mail, personal information, user identifiers, and passwords. Remember that an e-mail is not a safe means to send sensitive information. In case there is any suspicion, consult your Business center or User Help Center about the authenticity of any communication that you receive by any media. Verify that the site you entered corresponds to Banca Afirme. There is a fraudulent practice that consists in 'cloning' bank web pages copying your graphic identity to obtain identifiers and user passwords. It is important that you type the web page address for Banca Afirme (www.afirme.com) in stead of using links or hyperlinks from other web pages. A way to insure that you are entering Banca Afirme Site, is to double click on the security lock that appears on the browser once you are in the page for AfirmeNet, the certificate must be issued by\: www.afirmeeninternet.com net and must be issued by Verisign and must be valid on the validity dates.If you have any questions or clarification please call Afirme Customer Service
Precautions during Use of Service
Banca Afirme has an automatic session disconnect mechanism implemented after the user has been more than 20 minutes without any activity on the computer where the session in AfirmeNet is open. You should not leave your computer unattended when a session in AfirmeNet is open. In case it is required, you should terminate the session using the 'Secure exit' option. Verify that the session has in fact been closed and preferably close the window, and in case of a public computer also close the operating system session. Consult and check periodically you account balances against operations you have done and confirmed, just as you would in other type of operations such as automatic tellers. Uncheck the options for 'remember password' and 'auto complete' in your browser.
